Original building built on Parr Road in 1835, at a cost of £800 paid by Sir Peter Hesketh-Fleetwood. Road renamed after after the Reverend Thomas Meadows.
1912/1914: Church repaired and expanded.
1963: Original West Tower with corner pinnacles demolished and current Nave, Tower & Parish Rooms built.
