Lower Ogden Reservoir was completed in 1914, one of two reservoirs at Ogden supplying drinking water for Nelson. (Upper Ogden Reservoir was completed in 1908). It is larger than the earlier reservoir and can hold over 150 million gallons of water. The building in the foreground is Buttock farm.
