Nelson Railway Station
Nelson
Opened in 1849 by the East Lancashire Railway. Originally, the space where the retaining wall and canopied entrance are seen was occupied by the stationmaster's house, which had a booking hall on the ground floor.
In 2008 the station became part of Nelson Interchange when the bus station was moved from its former site next to the police station.
