General notes
The mill on the near top right hand is Helmshore Mill (now textile museum). The image makes Musbury fabrics seem closer to the museum than it actually is, but the shape of the chimney is as it is today which identifies it. Mario map GIS is the approximate centre point of the photo on Holcombe road. The photo must have been taken from the land that sits just behind the houses. Building in the bottom right must be the old church which is no longer there. The cottages to the right are often referred to as 'Hencote row' and the mill at around the centre of the photo are now 'The Loom' apartments.
