Scholefield House on Scholefield Lane, Nelson, is a grade II listed house, formerly divided into a house and farmhouse. It is dated 1617 and at that time was owned by Christopher Aspden a clothier and yeoman, who sold it to Lawrence Ormerod in 1624. Altered several times before being split into two dwellings in the nineteenth century, it was restored to a single dwelling in the late 20th century.
