Holmehead Bridge, Slaidburn
Slaidburn
Despite Buck having labelled this image as a "View at Dunsop" its principal feature is Holmehead Bridge, a very old bridge which crosses the River Hodder on the track leading to the East side of the river and to the entrance to Hammerton Hall. It is a public footpath and despite its apparently modest size, it is still named on OS maps.

User feedback: 'Definitely not Holmehead Bridge, Slaidburn. Holmehead is a stone arch bridge. The topography does not correspond and fits the Dunsop area better than Slaidburn.' 30/06/2024.
