Runshaw Hall is a grade II listed 19th-century italianate country house built in 1862. Between the wars and for a time after WWII it was run by the Brothers of Charity as a residential home men suffering from mental illness, in the 1970s it was used as a restaurant. It has now been converted to an apartment complex.
