Date and names unknown. Until 1898 the choir was paid, and had considerable success, particularly around 1890 when they were specially invited to sing at North East Cathedral Choir Association festival at York Minster, on 10th July 1890, being the only Lancashire choir so honoured. The occasion merited a special train. (Burnley Express 12.7.1890 p 5) Subsequently the church choir were unpaid volunteers.
Holy Trinity Church was consecrated in 1836 and closed in 1989 when it was converted to dwellings.
