This image shows filming for Independent Television news at Rawtenstall Station in February 1956. Northern cameraman Douglas H J Hardy of Blackburn "tracks" a diesel train out of the station on the way to Bacup. The film was taken for screening on the late news, but was only seen in London and Birmingham. A local reporter Albert Matthias is on the left.
