Following the completion of St.Anne's Pier in 1885, the sea front was developed with footpaths and garden walks during the 1890s. The postcard is addressed to Mr.A.Corbett, Wellington, Shropshire. Message reads: "Just to wish you the old old wish a very happy & prosperous New Year with rudest & best wishes from all at Norman". Postmark is December 31, 1904.
