Wycoller
Photograph shows the porch on the south west face of Wycoller Hall. Wycoller Hall is listed grade II*, with the earliest parts dating from 1596, with alterations during the following two centuries. The hall was the home of the Cunliffe family until the death of Henry Owen Cun;liffe in 1818. Traditionally the hall is seen as the inspiration for Ferndean Manor in Charlotte Bronte's "Jane Eyre". Wycoller also featured in the novels of Halliwell Sutcliffe. The porch was built as part of the renovations carried out to the Hall by Henry Owen Cunliffe in 1774.
