Photograph shows the Astoria Ballroom and Martins Bank. The Astoria closed its doors in February 1966 after 34 years. The last act to perform in front of 600 teenagers was the Clayton Squares. Martins Bank, the shops to the right and the Astoria were demolished in 1967 when St Mary's Way was built.
