Wyreside Hall is a Grade II listed building of eighteenth century origin and it was modified in the 1790s for John Fenton Cawthorne to designs by Robert Adam, and again in the 1840s for the Garnett family to designs by Lancaster architect, Edmund Sharpe, with later C19 and C20 additions and alterations. The style is neo-classical.
