Burnley
Adam Blacklaw
Playing an Inter-City Fairs Cup game away in Naples after winning the home tie 3-0, Burnley were given a hostile reception in the Southern Italian city. After goalkeeper Harry Thompson kept a clean sheet in the 0-0 draw, he was attacked by Napoli's Alberto Orlando. Burnley's reserve goalkeeper Adam Blacklaw took revenge by attacking the Napoli players and threw one down a set of stairs. Burnley were then given a military escort to the airport.
