A photograph of a doorway at Grange Hall which was an historic farmhouse south west of Stocks Village, probably the remains of Rishton Grange. It had 17th Century characteristics. It was demolished and now submerged by the construction of Stocks reservoir.
Grange Hall, Dalehead, was at one time the home of Thomas Cowking, wife Jenny, 3 daughters and 3 sons and now lies under the waters of Stocks Reservoir.
