When the picture appeared in a local paper in August 2011 an 85 year old Kirkham resident contacted us with some further information. He told us that...

J Worthington was Jim and had worked in the Co-op shoe store and lived on Clegg Street. There is a J Worthington at 8 Clegg Street in the 1929 Barrett's Directory of Preston and the Fylde.

C Cookson was Chris Cookson who lived in Ward Street.

T Roberts was a Tom Roberts who worked (owned?) a printers and stationers in Kirkham.
