This is one of a series of aerial photographs taken by Mr Frank Lord of Lytham St Annes when he went up in a light aircraft in April 2010.

The image is taken looking southwards. The Ansdell campus of Blackpool and Fylde College and Ansdell medical Centre are the white buildings in the centre of the image and Fairhaven Lake can be seen at the top before the shoreline.
