General notes
Longmires Lane doesn't appear on the 1891 Map- there's a Myers Farm and Dyke near the Railway Station and Storrs Lane, with the dyke leading off down to the moss. There are four slides where it is mentioned in the captions, and their placement implies it is somewhere between the Stankelt Road end of Bottoms Lane, and the station-end of The Row. It may be a local name for it rather than an official one, and seems to apply to the section of Stankelt and Slackwood Lanes lying between the junction of New Road and Bottoms Lane. This slide seems to show the grassy triangle where New Road from Cragfoot and Warton meets Slackwood Lane, with New Road heading off to the right.
