The May Queen of Dalehead, with one attendant, in a pony and trap in front of Dalehead Church in 1913.

St James's Church, Dalehead, Stocks in Bowland was one of the properties to be drowned by the formation of Stocks reservoir to supply water to the Fylde coast. Before this happened the church was dismantled and rebuilt on higher ground. it can still be visited today.
