Waddington Old Hall
Waddington
A view of the small gate leading into the grounds of Waddington Old Hall taken from the church across the stream. The inscription above the gate reads, "I will raise up his ruins and I will build as in the days of old" 798 Wada Dux 1900. John Waddington. This refers to the origin of the name Waddington and of the Australian John Waddington who restored the Hall in 1900 after it had been used as a farmhouse in the middle of the 19th century.
