Burnley Express of 16.7.1932 pp 11 & 16, reported on heavy flooding including the basement of the Baltic Fleet and two adjoining cottages 50/52 Colne Rd., Burnley which were very low lying. The Express captioned the photo as showing one of the occupants of the cottages bringing out his furniture to dry.
