General notes

Plover Scar Front Range Light- operated by the Lancaster port Comission, the tower is 27 feet high and the light is visible for 7 miles. The rear range light, which was a state tower with wooden support on the shore at Cockerham and was 58 feet high is no longer in position, although the keepers cottage survives.

Mr Eastwood had a Chemist shop in Lancaster, and took a selection of images around Morecambe on glass plates around the turn of the 20th century.
