Wardleys ferry across the Wyre. Used before the Wyre Bridge was built and available afterwards should anyone wish to use it.

Frederick Anyon was a local photographer, originally from Preston, who lived on Clarence Avenue, Cleveleys and died in 1944 aged 84. He married Mary Scholes and their son, also Frederick, became a well-known local journalist and local historian.
