Funded by the Lloyd’s Register Foundation, Lancashire Archives and Local History have digitised a collection of records linked to Fleetwood's coastal past. More detalis
During this two year project, a wonderful team of volunteers has digitised over 50000 historic images from the collections at Accrington, Burnley, Nelson, and Colne libraries.The project - funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Friends of Lancashire Archives - also created new images of East Lancashire, in partnership with schools and community groups, and collected additional historic images.

Historical Documents - names and other information about the 15,000 patients admitted to Whittingham Asylum 1873-1914.
