General notes
This is a slide from an original postcard. The car in the distance would seem to suggest a date of c1920. On the right is the Friendly Inn which was run by Thomas Wyld in 1923, William Green, the previous publican died in 1917. Beyond it is the building which was the Lamb Inn. The Friendly Inn does not appear in trade directories after 1923. The car is parked on Cross Lane which leads to Barley.
