Hubbick was a left back, b. Jarrow 12/11/1910, d. Preston 18/3/1992, originally a miner, he was signed by Burnley in March 1935, from Spennymoor United. He played a total of 58 senior games for Burnley 1935- Febrary 1937 when he moved to Bolton Wanderers, where he played 128 games either side of WW2; then 50 games for Port Vale 1947-9 and finally ended his professional playing career at Rochdale 1949-50 at the age of 40 but remained in the game. He later became physiotherapist at Preston.
