General notes

The Piccadilly Road Methodist Chapel opened in 1892. It was used as a chapel until 1905, at which point it was superseded by the new Methodist church on Manchester Road. The building was extended in 1916 and used as a Sunday school until the 1970's, when it was taken over by the Woodfield Printing Company. It remained vacant from 1981 until it was finally demolished in 1987.
