General notes
User comments: 'If this is Oswaldtwistle St. Andrew's C.E. Primary School (as opposed to the one in Accrington), the old School was located at the junction of Harvey Street and Kay Street.

It relocated to a modern building on nearby Springfield Street many years ago, where it was for a time known as Hippings Vale, before reverting to the name St. Andrew.

The old School was also used as a Place of Worship, being a "daughter church" of Immanuel in New Lane, with which the modern School still has a link.' 02/04/2024.

The old School building had industrial use (slipper works?) for quite a number of years but was eventually demolished and a few houses built on the site (within the last five years).'
