General notes
The Dormitory formed the west range of the Abbey Cloister,. It adjoined the Abbey Church to the north, the kitchen and refractory to the south and stood opposite the south transept of the Abbey Church, the Sacristy, Chapter House and Penitentiary (from which the Fratry extended southwards). It now stands in isolation. This image shows the rear/outer view rather than that into the former cloister. The doorway to the centre-right of the image is that shown in ECL20131112006.
