Taken from an article in the Jottings section of the Rossendale Free Press of 15th June 1968. The photograph show weavers cottages in Fall Barn Fold in Rawtenstall. Many of the buildings near to it have since been demolished. The cottages still exist today and are situated next to Rawtenstall Health Centre. The loom shop built in the 1700s was preserved through the campaining of the Civic Society and is now a museum.
