Bare Promande in the snow, Morecambe
Bare, Morecambe
This area on the promenade at Bare is now occupied by housing- the photographer standing near the end of Princes Crescent. To the right is the house adjacent to Lansdowne Road garage.
In the centre are the bathing cabins from the bathing pool, stores away from the sea out of season, and the advertising board is empty (only the remains of previous posters are visible)
The finger post appears to be a Tram Stop for the horse trams, which terminated just to the north.

Mr Eastwood had a Chemist shop in Lancaster, and took a selection of images around Morecambe on glass plates around the turn of the 20th century.
