User feedback: 'more likely to be Burnley Wood as a message on the reverse of a postcard at Towneley Hall has, with a bit of detective work, narrowed it to Burnley Wood.' 16/01/2026.

User feedback: 'Also in the description is Coal Clough school. Much earlier than 1915 as KE V11's portrait is hung at the back. I think this is Burnley Wood school. Towneley Hall has a copy of this with the message on the reverse written by Mabel Hitchen to her brother H H (Hubert) serving on HMS Sappho. The only thing which does not tie up is Hubert's service record starting with HMS Vivid and not Sappho.' 28/03/2026.
