The Commercial Inn was located on Church Street, Padiham. It was built in c1840, but was not used as a beer house until c1879.

The gentleman stood outside is Henry Hudson. He ran the inn from c1892 until his death at the age of 59 in 1914, when his wife Mary took over.

The Inn has now been converted back to a residential property.
