General notes

Hathorn Davey pumping engine (c. 1946). The inverted T-bob had a balance weight at the left and the right hand side drove two pump rods. The rod on the top right drove another identical bob. The two objects in the foreground were probably bottom clacks rather than pump buckets, because they do not appear to have any provision for fixing to the pump rods. Note the two extraordinarily large split pins at the top of the bob.
