The photocard suggests the photo of Enid Blyton was taken at the Central Library in front of a bookcase containing books she'd written. However, the card also states that there is some doubt about whether it was taken at Central Library as there is no record of a visit by her. The photo could be a promotional one sent to a child or to the District Librarian, Richard Caul. The card also refers readers to a news item from January 1950 in a scrapbook at T253.
