Extwistle Mill Burnley c.1900 John Parker built this in the 17th Century though there had been an earlier one in 1371 originally a corn mill. It was later used for the manufacture of worsted and for cotton spinning. (Smith, Heap and Holt from 1827 Mr Bell --? and J. Greenwood 1844-1884)
