Pickup Street was a street in the Pickup Croft area of Burnley, which was located roughly where the current Burnley Bus Station is now situated. This area, named after a farmer named James Pickup, featured streets like Miller Street, Hatter Street, and Peter Street by 1860, all occupied by housing and other buildings on what was once a field. The Pickup Croft School also stood on a corner of Boot Street and Croft Street within this area.
