The Huntroyde Estate (Demesne) is the ancestral home of the Starkie family. It is located on the out-skirts of Padiham and consists of a 6,500 acre estate and a large hall that was originally built in 1576.
This photograph shows part of the herd of the Highland cattle that were bred on the estate at Home Farm.
