Boxer Castle Lower Red Lees. Demolished in January 1959 by Bruce Leaver builder. It was on the Hollins Estate ( see 1853 plan in Burnley Advertiser November 1853. ) Dr. James Butler of the Grammar School and his family were at Lower Red Lees in 1871.
