A view of Peel Street showing one of the steam trams which ran between 1886 and 1907. On the right is the infant school of St. James' Church, after which Infant Street was named. Built in 1844 the school entrance was in Peel Street, while the master's house faced Infant Street. The school was demolished early 20th century
