General notes
The following information is attached to the rear of this mounted photograph.

Steam engines at Bank Hall (1867-1971)
This photograph gives some idea of the general layout of the engine showing the high pressure cylinder bore on the left, part of the grooved face of the flywheel (top left) and the low pressure cylinder with it's Corliss valves and valve-trip gear. The horizontal slide-action of the central dashpot can be clearly seen between the two inlet valves. The gunmental drip lubricators can be seen on top of both of the cylinders. A pressure lubricator is pedestal mounted to the right of the high pressure cylinder. The engine driver's controls can be seen in the right foreground.
