General notes
James Stephenson is given the ultimate treatment in star glamour by distinguished still photographer George Hurrell. This portrait was probably taken at the time of "Shining Victory" as the jacket he is wearing bears a striking similarity to one worn in the film. The Rolex watch and monogrammed handkerchief still survive today.
