This memorial , which is in the form of a water fountain, was erected to commemorate the work of Nurse Stephenson, who died in 1903. This original location is now the location of the War Memorial and the fountain was moved to another part of the rose garden in Sabden.

The text on the memorial reads 1904, Erected by public subscription in memory of Nurse Stephenson, who died July 23rd, 1903. "She lived for others"
