Alfred Pearson (30 April 1848–19 March 1909). Dr Pearson was consecrated a bishop by William Maclagan, Archbishop of York, at York Minster, on 2 February 1905. He was also appointed to simultaneously serve as Rector of St Peter's Church, Burnley. He died in office of TB in Burnley, Lancashire.
