The houses on the left are Nos. 16 to 26, all demolished circa 1939.The lane ran from Colne Road, north, over the Leeds Liverpool Canal to the farm known as Lindred, which is since demolished and is central to the Lomeshaye Industrial estate. There remains a footpath from Colne Rd to Churchill Way.
