Lydia lived at The Mount on Burnley Lane, Huncoat. She sold an 800 sq yd site adjacent to the old Baptist Chapel for £300 and to enable the 1910 Chapel to be built, she gave £100 of the purchase price back to boost the building fund. She laid one of the foundation stones of the new chapel
