Norman Hollinrake, Clayton-le-Moors Prisoner of War. Photo is from a photocopy of an undated newspaper article which states "The War Office have this week informed the parents of Private Norman Hollinrake, 84 Whalley Road, Clayton-le-Moors, that he is a prisoner of war in Germany at Camp Stalag. Private Hollinrake, who is 22 years of age, joined up at the outbreak of war. He was a blacksmith's striker at Whinney Hill Pit, and joined the Army Field Works to follow his own occupation. He formerly attended St James's School, Clayton-le-Moors."
