This is the image on the front of a postcard which is postmarked 28th July 1915 from Blackburn, addressed to a Miss A Taylor who was in the care of a Mrs Howe at 21 Albert Road in Blackpool.
The message on the back of the postcard reads: "89 Catlow Hall Street, Oswaldtwistle, July 28th 1915. Dear Alice, In reply to your card we are glad to hear you are having a good time. You must not forget to come back because you are liking as there are three black horses waiting for you on Monday morning. We are having plenty of wet weather here. From Mary + Thomas"
