General notes
The Water Fountain
The Water fountain is in direct contrast to the other one in the Rock Garden, as being severely classic in form, and being situated directly among the rocks and greenery. The bowl is relieved from its plainness by the sitting small figure of a child watching, in fancy, the silver sprays that shoot up in the air and fall back into the basin. Its situation is close by the pathway near the Museum, and yet affords another example of how water can be made to play an ornamental part, and form a delightful festure to the Rock Garden
