File copy refers to Accrington Observer and Times articles 02/06/1936 p.4, and 06/06/1936 p.13. Included in the file wallet is a photocopy of Lancashire Evening Telegraph article "Truly Majestic trip down memory lane" by Gill Johnson nqnw.co.uk. No date is supplied for the LET article. Original photo lent by Jack Whittaker, September 1998.
